This is THE staple Asian bakery for anyone living in northeast Ohio. Their bread is made fresh daily and they have a very wide selection, ranging from the ham and egg bun to the sweeter chocolate custard bun. They have a definitive Taiwanese influence in their buns, yet they have a unique style to their buns that makes the bakery stand out from a lot of other Asian bakeries I have been to in the United States. I have gone to Koko Bakery almost every week since I moved up to Cleveland and the bread has not gotten old to me even after nearly 10 years of service. Koko Bakery's bubble tea and desserts are comparable to what you can get at other Asian places - still pretty good, but nothing exceptional. However, the buns that you can get for $1-$1.50 definitely stand out to me as something you can't get anywhere else, and this is why Koko Bakery deserves a 5 star rating.
