I have looked over all if the reviews on this property. I had several social events at this property and had worked closely with the catering and management staff. I can understand how most of the reviewers felt about this hotel. I saw it first had and have never witnessed such incompetence as this operation. There is zero customer service. They nearly destroyed one ignore events by making a last minute change to our venue by putting us the bar area and giving away the ballroom to a last minute party. They excuse was they didn't know that the other party was already booked prior to my event. After doing some investigative work found that the group that got he ballroom booked it a week before my event. Even though I had a contract booked 9 months in advance. The rooms were dirty and a lot of the property was need if maintenance. I have watched this property go from a beautiful in town resort over 20 years ago decline into a poor example of a hotel. The management staff appeared to go out if their way to irritate the guests. Until they get a customer oriented staff and clean up up this mess they can be any hotel chain they want it will not change the reviews their getting on Yelp.
