If I could give this place negative stars I would. My son who is mentally ill went to see Dr Sanders due to his plate and screws in his mouth coming loose due to a traumatic injury in 2016. The front desk staff tells me they didn't get the referral. I stood there and called his PCP. I was assured it was sent over. They refaxed it. My son lost his insurance card. I was not aware of that until this visit. I had to call the PCP back to fax a copy of his insurance card. I was told his insurance info was on the top of the referral. The lady argued with me. She finally saw it. My son finally got in to see Dr. Sanders who seemed to be great with my son. He said it would be no prooblem to take it out. He asked me to try to get the info on what kind if screws were in. I told him I would. I looked for the surgeons name and couldn't find it. I called the office and talked to the front office lady again. We were told we had to wait for prior auth and they would call us. That was Sept 2017. Today, I called to find out about the prior auth. The girl said she would look into it and call me back. She did call me back and told me Dr Sanders said he didn't have the right tools to remove the hardware. Yet, back in Sept we were told it was no problem. Hmmm, maybe the front office lady didn't want to have to deal with me. I'm not the patient, I'm his guardian. My son is in pain. He's the patient. He needs to be taken care if. Shame on Dr Sanders and the front office lady.
