| - I had some time in between appointments and needed lunch. Since I was alone and without my husband, who usually says "no asian food," I came here for Dim Sum. When I used to work at Boeing I used to go to Top Gun in Bellevue and Imperial Garden in Renton a bit for Dim Sum and loved it, so I'm comparing this to those establishments.
I had one order of Shumai, one Shrimp Dumpling, one steamed Pork Bun, and after I was full they had fried crab claws that I couldn't say no to. I felt like I ate way too much food, even though the plates were tiny. The Shumai was ok, it has nothing on Top Gun's Shumai which is my favorite ever. The shrimp dumplings at Imperial Garden are also superior but these were good. The real star of my meal here was those crab claws, though. I really loved those which is why I feel Ping Pang Pong gets four stars.
So my husband, who isn't a real dim sum fan outside of baked pork buns, or a fan of Asian food in general because he never had it in his native alien territory of Montana, found out I went here and now wants to go, so I'm happy to say I will drag him here soon and get some of those crab claws again.
