Further interaction with the business owner lead her to lie on her response to my review on another site, stating that they were just waiting on my response.
For company with a slick website, they don't seem to understand that timestamps are embedded in emails - over two weeks after I responded to their haggling question, I had to reach out again to get a response. They probably just thought they could ignore me and the issue would go away.
I'll consider this resolved for now. Of the $800+ I paid to this company in the span of a week, they refunded me ~$40 after hours of inconvenience and incomplete service.
