  • Max's is MY NEIGHBORHOOD BAR. Just one light south of me. On the suggestion of my boyfriend's coworker, we went there for a Max Burger...BOMBDIGGITY! Cooked to perfection, deliciously loaded with lettuce, onion, tomato, jalapeno... accompanied by homemade chips that must have floated down from heaven on gossamer wings - with house dipping sauce. One bite and we were hooked! While my boyfriend and his crew flipped the Orangewood townhomes I happily kept them in the grub, making regular runs to Max's for specialty burgers, fries and sodas. Quick, accurate, efficient service - and Max's crew knew my name and made me feel welcome. After projects, the flip team assembled at Max's to discuss the next flip over a tasty offering of wings, chips, salads and burgers. Max's service and product are top notch. The walk through the gallery of national college helmets and NFL helmets (search hard for that Dallas one, Cowboy fans, but you will find it!) alone is worth the trip. OTB, great food, fantastic service and welcoming atmosphere make Max's my Favorite Place to be!
