| - Stay unhappy.
Stay stressed.
Stay unvalued.
That is my take on their branding motto (the actual motto is awesome....I just haven't experienced it). I bought a discounted package with the promise of incentives after the informational tour. After multiple calls and planning, I booked a Virginia trip for hubby's birthday. Just before the trip, a Diamond staffer called to cancel the trip saying that they made a mistake and booked me during "blacked out dates." I re-arranged my life to make that trip happen. The irony is that I called the resort in Williamsburg, VA and was told that they had room and did not understand why I was told I couldn't visit. Left doesn't talk to right.
I don't suggest buying a package from a festival, expo or off site event. If you really want to visit a Diamond Resort location, visit that actual location and book your appointment that way. Dealing with multiple staffers who don't actually work for the resort only causes stress and mis-information. If you purchase a visit from someone at a vendor's table or booth, get everything in writing or you will learn that these nameless sellers enter the "Vendor witness protection program" and can never be found again. We were promised tickets to Busch Gardens. It wasn't written down on my receipt and is now a "He said, she said, " Get the contact information from the person who is making all the promises. It wouldn't hurt to take a picture of that person. Once you walk away from that booth, you will discover that the person who made their quota disappears and you will never find them again.
Be careful which phone number you provide because it will be called again and again and again. It doesn't matter what parameters you set up to be notified. The company will call and call and call, based on what is convenient for them - not you.
I can't figure out why all the phone calls are recorded. No one pays attention to what was said.
I was able to reach someone through Diamond's facebook page, who said he would put me on the "do no call list." All I wanted was the opportunity to initiate a call when it was convenient for me (not on weekends or in the evening). Diamonds are supposed to be a girl's best friend.
