saw a deal for cakepops at this place online & was taking a drive around so decided to check them out.... plus, I'd gotten pretty bad customer service at another shop a bit closer to home & was looking for a new cupcake refuge:-)
was impressed that, on a Sunday afternoon, there were enough flavors left for me to try the ones I wanted to (and not just what's left which is typical of bakeries on weekends)...The staff was friendly & helpful.
I got a few of the mini cupcakes to try & to share. My favorite was the peanut butter chocolate mini - sooo yum!!! wish I had gotten a regular sized one. Therefore, this review is given the 4stars for that flavor on it's own:-)
Vanilla/Chocolate - pretty standard. icing was a bit too sweet. not exceptional tasting & certainly not worth paying a premium price for.... prefer my own baked at home for these flavors for sure!! :-)
red velvet - saw rave reviews on yelp for these before i visited so was really excited to try.... but not sure what the hype is bc i've had way better elsewhere & could be alot more moist!
They also offered samples of their birthday cakepop on the counter so that was refreshing to see:-) I tried a piece. wasn't impressed. tasted a bit under-baked & more cookie like than cake. (I've had from other places before & they were cakey)
so overall, not a fan of the cakepops so won't be getting that deal but enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate cupcakes!
