| - We made a 2nd visit to Pizza a Metro last evening, Saturday. On our first visit about a year ago, we agreed the food was delicious and atmosphere is inviting. I hesitated to return because of poor reviews here, mostly regarding slow and unfriendly service. But we ventured to try it again anyway. As soon as we entered a young man greeted us, introduced himself, and said that Francisco would be our waiter. Francisco arrived at our table immediately, and he was quite pleasant and efficient. Our drinks and water were served without delay. We shared a Caesar salad which contained very crisp and cold romaine and dressing very good and the correct amount. Our entrees were served very soon after the salad, no waiting here. I ordered chicken marsala with vegetables and roasted potatoes - sauce delicious and plentiful, sides very good as well. My husband ordered lasagna. It is served a bit different to lasagna he is accustomed to, but he said it was quite good and he ate every last bit. We had no complaints regarding service, which was more than friendly, or food which is delicious. It appears that the owner has made improvements. For sure Alex is a talented chef. I hope our Gilbert residents and others venture to try Pizza a Metro. With the changes now in effect, you should not be disappointed!
