  • Working Draft Beer Company offers up solid brews in a crisp, wide open space. Came here recently on a mini-tour of Madison brews with my best craft beer enthusiast side kick (and husband), the one, the only, Chris O. We got a flight of fabulous consisting of their cupid (porter), up is down (mild dark ale), McPike (oaked scotch ale), and finally their copperhead (copper ale). They were all solid, though I was partial to the scotch ale (because the only thing better than a typical scotch ale is an oak-aged scotch ale, amirite?). Their copperhead was the first ever copper ale I've tried. It was good, but not as warmly rich a style as I typically prefer. The service was fast and friendly and their space was incredibly welcoming. Their location is a bit off the beaten path, but worth seeking out! Get to it!
