If I could give less I would. I love coming to Starbucks and some would say I have quite an addiction but anyways that's besides the point. I live in a predominately White neighborhood and I am African-American. Whenever I come to the Starbucks on Hualapai it's a disappointment EVERY TIME.! There was never a greeting from the time I walked in to the time I ordered. I came in with 7 1 dollar bills and the cashier went over my dollar bills several times as if she was checking to see if they were even real.(Racial profiling much???) Everyone one there after was greeted with a "Welcome to Starbucks We'll be right with you!" Oh and you guessed it, none were black.
I have lived in the neighborhood for three years and I try my hardest to avoid going to the Starbucks location at all because out of the 5-6 visits they were all the same. It is always uncomfortable as soon as I walk in the door. The last time I went here I ordered online and had my oldest daughter go in and pick up my drink because I know her innocence does not pay attention to the way these people act here... This morning I was in the mood for Starbucks (after dropping my child off at school) and didn't feeling like driving a couple miles away to Flamingo or Charleston (since this is the closet location to me) and decided hey let me try again and get a cup of coffee. My husband was with me but said he would stay in the car because this location makes HIM uncomfortable and once again was disappointed with the staff and really felt like I needed to write this review and hopefully someone will see this who manages the store or works there and realize that it is a big flaw at this location and not a good look for Starbucks as a company! (I apologize for my review being all over the place but I'm frustrated and just wanted to write what was currently on my mind.) I hope The owners of Starbucks stumble across this and make some major changes because this is unacceptable in 2018!
