  • 4 Stars for this location not impressed with the service at the SE location. I bought a laptop from here yesterday... using it to write this review. I have had a laptop before but I wanted something better and as school is fast approaching for me I needed something reliable. Unlike my previous laptop that actually caught on fire. My brother is techy guy so he did all the researching for me in terms of what I wanted memory wise, size, extras, speed, and over all appearance. As I have had a busy summer and I don't understand some of the specs with computers! We settled on 3 different makes of laptops from memory express and it all came down to price. Now being that this is going to be used mostly for school and leisure I wasn't keen on spending more for an amazing graphics card I do not game so not really worth it for me. I settled on 1 I absolutely loved and we phoned the store and got it put on hold for me. Being only 1 of 2 laptops in stock putting it on hold was worth it. When we arrived at the store I went over to the laptop displays and looked at the one we picked just to make sure it was the right one. Didn't want to go through buyers remorse on such a big purchase. Off I went to the purchase line and I bought the laptop along with the in-store product replacement. Meaning that they will look at my laptop for free and replace it if it can not be repaired. Although many people don't see this as something they would buy I however did seeing as what happened to my other laptop and future shop did nothing for me even though I had a warranty... (it seems to be a complete joke to future shop.) I'm not going to lie I considered buying another laptop from future shop however it came down to product quality over laptops pumped out by the masses sold to anyone and everyone. Memory express was the only place that carried the laptops I was looking at so it was very store and product specific. Although I did the research myself along with help from my brother the staff was very helpful to me at the point of sale. I told them about my other laptop issue and he said I wasn't the first person to tell him that the make and model I had caught on fire. It was scary to say the least. Before we completed the sale he asked me what I was using it for and what I was taking in school just in case it wasn't the right fit for what I needed. In any case I am more than happy with my purchase and service received. My brother buys products from them on a regular basis so he kinda introduced me to the store. I have to say I really like this location better than the SE location. I find the store has a better layout. Much more laptops on display. The staff is exponentially better here. Even though the store is a bit out of the way for me I'd make to the trip to this location again if the need arises.
