  • You should use FFS if: * You are willing to wait 5 months to get your loan done * You want to be told "look i don't really need your loan" * You want to work with 9 different reps from the same company * You enjoy babysitting grown people (btw, just because they're grown ups doesn't mean their brain has fully developed) These guys are horrible. I've already spent 4+ months dealing with them and although I would love to give everyone a weekly recap of the mess they've put me through, I can't justify giving them an additional second of my life. This review is for those who are doing their homework before working with this uneducated, unprofessional, and irresponsible company and its team. We started our refinance process in late October 2012...it's mid March 2013 and no sign of a loan. For the past 2 months they've been saying loan is approved and waiting for final sign off and funding. They've run our credit multiple times (without further authorization). We've had 3 mortgage brokers and 6 loan processors working on our loan. One less competent than the other, but none lacked excuses. I would highly highly highly encourage you to read reviewed on BBB and other sites about these guys. We've already filed a report with the Consumer Protection Agency and initiated an investigation. You don't want to go through the same hassle. In a time when mortgage brokers are dime a dozen, do yourself a favor and go with your next choice. I guarantee it cannot be a worse experience than going with First Financial Services.
