I took my dog here and the doctor and the vet tec were both unfriendly and not helpful.
My dog has been diagnosed with cancer. It was a very painful to hear and even harder when the doctor spent less then 5 mins with us. He said there was two options: spend XYZ ($1,600)or quality of life.
I understand those may be the only options but he never explained the pros or cons. He was very quick and dismissive. He was rushing the visit and didnt examine or listen to her breathing or in my personal opinion didn't give her a thorough examination. As he was walking out of the room, I asked about antibiotics for her open wound?! The doctor was literally halfway out the room as I was asking this question (i still trying to wrap my head around what I was just told) and he replied sure.
He never gave me any instructions on how to clean or take care of it or anything.
The Vet tech poked her head in the door and said so he wants to prescribe antibiotics. I said yes and she replied so do you want them (VERY RUDE)? Of course I wanted them but I wanted to see the cost. She eventually came back in the room and gave me pricing and I said yes.
I was told by the Vet tech to go to front counter and check out. I go out and I'm looking at the lady across the desk still in shock on how I was treated by the doctor and the vet tech and told her this was the worst service I've ever experienced.
They didn't even tell me how to administer the antibiotics, I was so frazzled by the time I left there that now having time to decompress and this was the worst experience I have ever encountered when dealing with veterinarian.
I have now taken my dog to another vet who is way nicer and took their time to explain what was going on in my dog's body. He answered all my questions and he going to be perform treatment on her for a fraction of the cost!
