  • Donuts, boba, ice cream and tamales... oh my. Sunrise Donuts seems to have a bit of an identity crisis going on in my opinion, but for donuts it is a great little shop. Located in a tiny strip mall just off the 215 and Decatur (right by the Nevada Highway Patrol, ironically enough), this 24 hours bakery is just up the street from my work making it ideal for the mornings I'm on donut duty. Parking is tight and getting back onto Decatur can be problematic in the morning but this area really needed a locally owned shop like this. Sunrise has a nice variety of classic donuts to choose from, nothing too funky here, and so far every donut I've tried has been a winner. I have not tried any of the other items offered yet.
