My dog had knee surgery. Her pain meds had to be compounded. Because she would not take in or eat anything. We drove over against all the traffic. The exact amount of tramodal which cost $31 at the vet ,( was $250.)
is then crushed and put in a suspension liquid. When I got home an hour later I went to give this to our dog I opened the bottle and looked. This said liquid was thicker than hand cream. I called the after hours number and finally got a call Tuesday and they transferred me to the compounding pharmacist. He said he really questioned the amount being put into the suspension. He didn't pick up the phone and call the prescribing vet who is open 7 days a week..... needless to say $250 that was not deliverable to my dog. The vet had to prescribe injectable pain meds. Never ever go here. I'm in the medical field so I understand 110%.
