  • I will not use this company again! Reserved a car through Hotwire for $18 a day. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle there was nothing but problems. Told me the vehicle I reserved was not available but could upgrade me for $12 more a day. Told them I didn't want the upgrade. Then I was told that the vehicle a reserved would be a lot smaller than what was stated on Hotwire. I was stuck since I needed the car. Went ahead with the upgrade. The car I was given was dirty and had a strong smell of smoke inside. Plus there are a lot of fees they charge that is not clear online. Over all, the car cost me just over $100 more than the original price quoted. I should have cancelled my reservation and went with a different company. A lesson learned that it's not always cheaper going with the company that seems to be the cheapest online.
