| - The food was edible, and the restaurant was clean and bright. The waitress was nice enough, but when I asked for a recommendation, she pretty much told me everything was good and the omelettes are popular, the skillets are popular, etc. I ordered two pancakes to feed my baby and asked for them plain--they came out with a big scoop of butter on them. My daughter's funny face pancake was cute, but the fresh fruit wasn't exactly fresh, and there wasn't much of it (two canned pear slices, two canned (?) blueberries, and a little sliver of strawberry). My skillet was pretty good, but small for the price and the English muffin was coated with some oily substance (despite the waitress asking if butter was okay)--whatever it was, it wasn't butter. I had the vanilla hot chocolate and it was sickeningly sweet, I didn't even finish it. Although it's close to us, next time I'd skip and hit up Courier Cafe instead.
