  • I love this place, the sweet servers and flavors get 5 stars. ONE star is for their blatant deceiving pricing. The wall menu CLEARY states that pricing for a Large slush is $3.95 and another menu displays an abundant variety of SLUSH-y drinks. It clearly says SLUSH LG$3.95 and then SLUSH options. I ordered a Large slush and was billed $4.27 but then another server stopped her and said something in their language so my girl revised my total to $5.35. I brought this to her attention and pointed to the price and the items listed under that category. She then went on to tell me that my passion fruit/orange juice slush is actually a "mixer" (as is every other item on the menu) and that they have to charge me more. I asked why it's labeled a slush and pricing is listed for a slush if they're going to then charge me for a mixer (mixers have a differed price range but nothing on the menu [that I saw] was listed as a mixer). I told her it's not about the extra dollar, it is about the deceiving pricing. She still kept saying that it's a mixer. It was challenging to communicate as they also don't speak English well and it was pointless to debate the clear deception in their posted menu and costs. She just said "I'll tell my manager". They did this to me (and most likely others as well before and also said they'll talk to the manager) before and nothing changed. I like the place and I love the drinks but how they do their business there is an unfair and an unethical practice that deceived their customers. Do that several times a day for a year and it adds up to pretty decent money. I did not appreciate this whatsoever (again, it's not the money, it's the principal of the fact and an unfair tactic). I got my drink and left but because they do this, I doubt I will remain a customer. Also, they asked me if I want boba and I clearly stated I do Not want it but they still added a load of gigantic boba beads to my drink, which I really dislike consuming to the unnecessary addition of major calorie content. I'm not writing this to be a jerk but am simply wanting to point out to the owners and other customers that this is unfair and deceptive. I go to a bunch of other boba places in my neighborhood where I do not have to deal with this nonsense and will take my business there. It's a matter of respect which clearly is not the goal of this business. REVISE your menu to properly reflect what you INTEND to bill so people don't have to read your minds and assume WHAT you think you mean when you say SLUSH.
