  • Was at the eaton centre and wanted bubble tea but didn't want to go back to the usual chatime close by, so me and my friend decided to try chachago. The place is small and fairly clean. I ordered one of their signature drinks, the Taiwan taro milk tea. My friend got the red bean pudding ice smoothie w/ milk. It's a bit pricier than other bubble tea places, even w/o adding toppings. The taro milk tea was...interesting. It was a gloop of taro mush at the bottom of the cup and tea that filled the rest of the cup. Our server told me to mix my drink, but it was kind of difficult considering how thick the taro was. Also it didn't mix well with the tea. The taro was tasty, but the tea tasted very watered down. I tried a bit of my friends drink, and it wasn't that great either. It was better than my drink, but the ice smoothie part was very bland. The pudding was tasty though. Overall, we weren't too happy with the drinks we ordered, but maybe the other drinks are better!
