I finally had a chance to have an eye exam and was rather impressed with Dr Jung. He explained why my eyes were in good shape, despite my strong prescription, and showed me the images of my eyes, which were fascinating to see (to me at least!). I ordered new lenses for my prescription sunglasses and enjoyed chatting with the nice clerk. She said that my lenses should arrive within 10-14 business days and that the office will call me when the lenses arrive.
Well, I waited for 2 full weeks and heard nothing. In my experience, prescription lenses are usually produced in less time than projected because opticians know that people need their glasses to see and live their life! I called the office and the receptionist said that my order should be ready in the next few days.
A few days later, I called again and the receptionist said that yes, my order arrived a week ago. I told her that I didn't get a phone call informing me of that fact. (Why would I make 2 follow up calls if I did?)
My new sunglasses are great, but I think that the office can improve its tracking process of customers' orders. I also think that the front staff can be a little more friendly....at least *pretend* that you're happy to be there? Aside from those two points, I did like Dr Jung and my sunglasses appear to be well done.
