The gift shop staff could use some training courses in customer service, especially the older Southern woman who apparently is missing the words "Hello," "How are you?" and "Thank you" from her vocabulary. She asked for ID when my mother paid by credit card, but never looked at the name on the card and failed to notice (or point out) that my mother had put her thumb over her name and address (which she did on purpose!). Fortunately, the gift shop does not detract from the experience that can be had at Red Rock Canyon. Take the scenic drive, enjoy the breathtaking scenery and skip the gift shop.
