Great selection of fresh produce (NC strawberries, SC blueberries, heirloom tomatoes etc.). Vendors are really helpful and knowledgeable. One of my favorite vendors sells herbs and vegetables to plant in your garden. There is also a fish vendor, a few stands selling baked goods and a couple of tables selling beautiful flower arrangements. Prices are super cheap- fifty cents for a bunch of cilantro, a dollar for a bag of 6-8 jalapenos, $3.50 for a pint of fresh strawberries. I also like the unusual items that are sold here, like dragon fruit, baby eggplants, shishito peppers, and bitter melon.
I try to pick out recipes I want to make every weekend before I come to the market, but I usually end up veering off my list and just getting whatever looks the best. I've never bought something here that was rotten or spoiled; everything has always tasted great. I also love that they are open on Sundays starting in May!
