Yesterday was the last straw, I'm officially changing dentist. Dr. Yanga is in the wrong profession, should've been a mechanic with a major in "up-selling"... you know the kind that tells you a new engine is needed when all you need is a $19.99 oil change?... She's very pushy and will always suggest the most expensive and major options to anything wrong with your teeth, all with a little smirk on her face. I listened to her tell me I needed gum surgery because I brush too hard... I mentioned I had something much less drastic fix the same issue in the past that took 5 minutes and cost $25... she looked shocked and said "or you can do that too but it isn't permanent". Had I not known there was another option to fix my problem, I would've really believed surgery was the only solution... I lost all trust at that point... and shame on you for saying I need to put down a deposit to make an appointment on Saturdays. Who does that?? Another thing, when my daughter had all of her wisdom teeth removed (earlier this year) and was experiencing excruciating pain from migraines after her paid meds ran out, we went in for an emergency appointment and one of the dentists (I believe it was Fisher) refused to prescribe something for her pain. I was nearly in tears having to see my daughter in this condition and watching the dentist not even pretend to care as I pleaded with her. SMH. Precision Dental has wonderful reviews and they're very close by. Time to check them out. ******The hygienist Lindsay is very sweet, the one and only star goes to her.
