My straightener and blow dryer both recently stopped working so I went in to check out some options. I've been using CHI styling tools for over a decade now so decided it was time for a change. When I walked in there were about three cashiers just standing around but not one greeted me. No biggie. It was my first time in that particular Ulta store so I was a little confused as to where everything was, but I eventually found the flat iron and other styling tool section. I literally walked around the aisles 4 times and about 5 different associates , one seemed like a manager walked by and saw me but didn't once say hello or ask me if I needed help. I found a few flat iron options and went to the front. One associate asked me if I was ready but I said I had a question. At first she looked hesitant, but she ended up answering my question and suggested a babyliss larger inch flat iron since I have thicker hair. The same associate ended up ringing me up,and asked if I found a flat iron. I gave two stars since she did help me even if I had to ask her for help myself. I have over eleven years of customer service experience and the greeting is definitely the most important. I may give this location another try. However, I want to feel welcomed, and not just another transaction.
