  • If you're planning on going for a provider interview to decide if you want to use their services, make sure they tell you upfront if there will be any charge. They told us there would not be, after the interview, as we stood there for 15 minutes waiting to see if we owed anything, we were told we were fine. Now I receive a bill for a $40 copay. I called to dispute it and was told they've had this problem before, spoke to the office manager who refused to give me her name. She said they don't tell people ahead of time because they don't know what the insurance is going to pay. She said they've had this issue before and then in the next breath said she vowed to change the procedure, but didn't offer to waive the $40 copay. We decided to use a different provider before we received this bill, and it looks like we made the right decision. All I can say is if you do go for an interview, don't fill out any paper work.
