| - I've been seeing Dr. Brill since 2008, he delivered both of my sons. He's very easy going and easy to talk to, but his staff, the worst to deal with, everything has gone downhill since he was with Women's Specialty Care.
Last year, I went to this new location they had opened up for an annual, it was scheduled one month out, normal. I got to see him and speak to him, asked for birth control, he had it ordered. They call me a few months down the road to tell me to come in to start it, why would I want it now if it's been over three months?
Fast forward to this year, I need to see him again for my annual. They schedule me during my time of month. Take note that I'm scheduling a little over a month in advance, and they can't accommodate me for an earlier appointment date. Fine, whatever, I'll pray to the gods to work some miracle. The weeks are going by, I feel that something's not right with my body, I start having unusual symptoms, I start freaking out, I call Dr. Brills office, tell them it's an emergency, again, I can't be seen until one month out. I call again a few days later because my symptoms are worse, at this point, I think I'm having a miscarriage, this receptionist is a bit more sympathetic and has me come in for a blood test. Take note that the first receptionist I spoke to said I couldn't come in for one so I was bit baffled. I walk in around 8:30 a.m. the first time, no receptionist in sight for a good 10/15 minutes, they open at 8:00...I get my first blood test done, I should have results the following week, I then come in again 4 days later, same thing, no receptionist in sight for 10/15 minutes, everyone is just chatting away. I ask when I should get my results, response, by tomorrow. I Call a day or two later, his assistant doesn't call me until the next day, results still not ready. Two weeks go by, not a peep from them. I have to call them to get my results, what kind of office are they running? Where the patient has to keep on top of the provider?
What definitely takes the cake though, they call me today to reschedule my appointment. The one I had scheduled over a month ago, really? I schedule my appointments in advance to accommodate my work schedule, next time I could see him at a time and date that works with my schedule, late March, almost April, are you freaking kidding me? After almost a decade of seeing Dr. Brill, it's time to find a new doctor, he can thank his wonderful staff for losing patients.
