Went here for dinner tonight and was excited since I've been to Vegas 14+ times (yes that's ridiculous lol) and have wondered about Mon Ami Gabi. It's a nice open restaurant at the base of the Eiffel Tower (with large patio); always busy and seems to be the place to be. Service started off very good but lacked at the end where it took a long time to settle our bill. We also did not appreciate a 18% gratuity being added automatically regardless of party size, it's very high and the prices for food were a bit expensive to start with.
Atmosphere is nice and has that European charm. Food was not bad but nothing special. We shared the classique and peppercorn steak frites (one with a house salad instead which was good). The steaks were thin and wasn't what was expected but actually tender and tasty. The fries were shaved potatoes strips and had really crispy fried bits that were delicious. The beef tartare was only okay and very expensive for what you get (two toasts). Mussels and frites were decent as well. Complementary warm bread and carrot salad was appreciated and were yummy.
Maybe this place is a better candidate for breakfast and brunch but I felt like it was very expensive for what you got. Vegas strip prices for okay food. Do not recommend for dinner.
