I am updating my review to a more mature written one because I am now sobered up and realized it needed to be changed. My girlfriends and I didn't plan on going into this bar but the man at the door was chatting with us and said, from what I heard, "free shots because it's a birthday". So at 12 am, after drinking all night, we decided to go in. We sat at the bar and told Brian what the guy at the door said and Brian laughed at us and said, "we do not give free shots at this bar, sorry." I was kind of mad and low on patience due to drinking so I walked to the door and asked him why he said that. He said, "I said free shot for the birthday girl." Fine whatever, I figured maybe I was drunk and misheard. As I walk back in to explain to Brian, he is still laughing about it and just ignores me! Terry then talks to me and is incredibly nice and said sorry about the mixup and gave the bday girl her shot. I understand that working as a bartender can't be an easy job but being rude and ignoring customers in a dead bar just doesn't seem logical. I was not being loud or obnoxious in any way just mislead and found it annoying that the doorman is saying whatever to get people in. There was a mix up and I was glad Terry used a professional attitude to explain to us (me) the situation.
