| - Really liked the interior of the place, has the hipster vibe to match the neighborhood it's in. The staff was friendly and we were seated fast. Had the trio of dips as an appetizer, it was solid, but next time I'd go with only the eggplant hummus, it was the best one of the three. Very good coffee, which is fairly unusual for a food spot. My husband had shrimp and grits as his main course, no complains there. My daughter had the chicken pizza of the kids menu - lots of chicken, looked delicious, she could only eat half, very generous portion. I had the lamb burger, and it might've been the best lamb burger I've had in years, cooked just right, juicy patties, amazing flavor with the bun, onion jam, the mint and arugula. I'll be coming back just for that. Split French toast for dessert, could've easily skipped that, nothing special.
Minus one star for slow service and the way the food came out - three of us had our entrees with 5 minute increments, so by the time I got my food, my husband was almost done eating. The amazing burger would've made me overlook way worse service though. It was that good.
