I've been here a few times. It's a very clean facility, which makes me feel very good about going. I don't mind waiting because they have tvs and I wait just as long if not longer at my primary care dr. I totally understand and they respect their boundaries as an urgent care. They are there to "bandaid" you until you can follow up with a primary care dr if there's a more serious issues. One time I went in with extreme stomach pains. No clue what it was. They called around and got me into a diagnostic place that was able to see me that day. I've also been there for colds and everything was appropriate. I also respect that they don't hand out pain meds and cough syrup with codine like it's candy (like a lot of other places). I see no problem having PA's and APN's. Most people don't realize that we have a primary Dr shortage in Nevada and also having MD's makes the payment more expensive. I find this place to be very ethical, which is the most important thing to me as a responsible patient who understands how the medical system works. I usually wait about 20 mins to get a script after seeing the APN or PA. Almost every time I think they forgot about me. And I'd really like it if the prescriptions could be called in. That would make up for some of the time.
