| - Oh, Vaughan Mills, you're almost 10 years old now and only recently have you started to become the Mall you were supposed to be. I recall when it first opened it's doors it was essentially a flea market. So many knick knack and low end outlets. Sure it had some great anchor stores, but the launch was a let down across the GTA.
Fast forward to 2013, Vaughan Mills is still an outlet mall, but it has become the premiere location for many top of the line retailers (Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Holt Renfrew, etc) as well as anchors like Lucky Strike Lanes, the recently added Legoland Adventure Centre and Bass Pro. Also a huge PLUS to this place is the never ending parking. No matter the season Parking never seems to be an issue here, plenty of spots despite the mall itself being packed (Yorkdale should take note).
Had I reviewed this place 10 years ago it would have been a 1-2 star rating, but with the upcoming expansion and the plethora of food options available in the outer Vaughan Mills area (the strip mall pods that run along Rutherford) it has certainly raised its rating to a well deserved 3.5 star in my eyes.
Once the new $87 Million expansion is completed I think this mall will have a whole new look and will earn an extra 1-2 stars from me!
