  • We came in here a little earlier than usual to grab some dinner on the way to a concert. We sat at a table for about five minutes and received no attention from the waitress. We pretty much know already that great service here requires sitting at the bar, so when a couple left, we snagged the bar seats and were waited on immediately. Sadly, our two favorite menu items no longer exist at the George: the philly and the sliders. Well, this meant we had to look at the menu. I decided on the English kabash, and it was good! Ground and seasoned beef and lamb mixture with the fixins. It still doesn't replace my beloved philly, but it's good to know some tasty bar food remains here.
