  • I don't get it. Why is this place super popular? The coffee is killer and the service *can be* excellent... but the food is mega over priced and mediocre at best. I've attempted this place a couple times, ordering totally different dishes and have given up. Either they don't understand how to make food flavorful, or they don't care. Pancakes shouldn't be batter in the middle, a veggie breakfast burrito SHOULD NOT be $11...unless it's the size of a toddler, a breakfast tofu scramble should not have blocks of sautéed tofu in it (are you new?), and I shouldn't spend $40 on breakfast for two people...no booze involved, just food. I really wanted to like this place but it's honestly not worth it.
