I just renewed my lease with Renter's warehouse put of necessity and I advise you never do business with them if you can avoid it. If you need anything repaired it's up to the owner of the property to approve it and then it's a wait and see. In case you're wondering, according to them it's not the owner's legal responsibility to make sure the AC and heat run properly/effiently, they just have to turn on. I learned the hard way early on to avoid phone conversations with them and to only correspond via email and keep every single one so there's a trail because they like to make things up. I just went online to pay my February rent and there's a $99.90 lease renewal fee. I called and was told I was sent 3 automated emails from one of two places starting 90 days ago telling me there would be a renewal fee and it's was supposedly underlined and in bold. I have never gotten such an email as I said I keep all emails to and from them even the ones when they close for holidays. This was not on the lease I signed and if there was a fee wouldn't that have been on that legally binding document? The lady I talked to was quick with her bs answer and with plenty of attitude. It really sounded like she has memorized this response. Seriously if you can avoid working with them please do!
