| - I got a horrible, insanely expensive colour here by what the said was their most experienced colourist. I asked for balayage with a blended root and pastel pink colour. To start off, she claimed it was impossible to do colour that didn't start at the root, which is obviously not true, and used foils anyways. I trusted her judgement even though this was clearly a warning sign. When I saw the result I almost cried. It was very streaky and there were huge chunks of colour missing in the side and the back. Generally very patchy and rough. She also made the front pieces solid blocks of colour, completely different from the rest. The right and left side of my hair are totally asymmetrical. It's not blended at all and looks like I did it myself. It was also super bright, almost neon pink, not at all what I asked for. I felt like a badly drawn anime character. They do have a policy where you can go back and get it fixed for free within a week, but you have to get t done by the same stylist. I didn't want to risk serious damage by more bleach, and didn't really want to put my trust in someone who had messed it up so bad the first time. To top it off, it was $250 for highlights on chin length hair!! The stylist refused to give me a breakdown of the cost, only saying it was because of "the methods and materials". If you want a good colour go to Ean at Two Horses, I had a great experience there.
