  • Worst gym, mainly staff, I've ever been a member of. Pretty disappointed to find out there was no way to opt out of the contract a year in even with a cancelation fee. You had to be moving out of the area, which was only way. That's fine, I didn't put up a fight with that, I signed the contract in the first place. Another gym, madtown fitness, was more than accommodating to "buy out" my contract with Princeton and let me train at madtown while just paying Princeton. But then when I did actually get a job 3 hours north of madison and was moving out of the area Princeton club was just awful to deal with. I had to make 4 separate trips there to speak with someone, 2 of which the only person that apparently handles cancelations wasn't there. The staff I worked with was incredibly rude and not accommodating. In the end I never did have it resolved, not by fault of trying, before I moved and ended up paying another months worth ($78) plus their cancelation fee of $300 a month and a half after I had finally moved. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone. The gym equipment and facility itself are fairly nice but the way I was treated by the gym staff and how incredibly difficult they make it just to get out of a gym contract is ridiculous. Then still charge me 300 to cancel when I signed a 2 year contract with only 7-8 months remaining is absurd.
