  • I have gone to Halo twice now. They will always ID you, they will always have you do paperwork, so if you're looking for a sleazy place to bend the rules for you, this is not it, keep looking! Both times, each person I have encountered (including the person at the front - I dont remember his name sorry!) has been a consummate professional, friendly & educated in their craft. They have explained the jewelry, the aftercare process, and the piercing process before they began, with complete patience and without a hint of arrogance. Personally I would recommend Glen because I felt he was super respectful and patient with me and my questions. He checked numerous times to make sure I was okay throughout my procedure even though it was a simple one and he impressively picked up on my tiniest bit of anxiety (he noticed I was chewing my gum faster!). The rooms are spotless and sanitary, you put your stuff down on a bench - if you bring a guest with you for moral support, they sit on that bench at the end of the room. They have a dentist-like chair for you to sit in (not as scary though lol) and they will show you the tools as they take them out of the autoclave bags. You will always feel like you are in safe hands, because you are, and they will talk you through each step of the procedure so you are never in the dark about what's about to happen. I have never had any post-procedure complications or infections. They really make sure you know what to do to take care of yourself before you walk out of there. I would highly recommend them to anyone I care about because they are safe and well trained, they are kind, professional, honest people that are willing to take the time to educate you without making you feel like a dingo.
