  • Umiya is a great little gem of a sushi restaurant, and quite honestly my only major complaint here is that their wooden benches are super uncomfortable. It sounds like I'm being a diva, but it needs to be said! You can't happily eat your weight in AYCE sushi if your butt starts to hurt. The food, though, is good. The sushi rice seemed to be lacking the vinegar, but it wasn't a huge deal considering this is an AYCE place. Service was quick and friendly. Nigiri is yummy but the rolls kind of all taste similar. There are a quite a few reviews on here stating that the seafood wasn't fresh, but I did not find that to be an issue on my visit. I think I have really high standards when it comes to sushi places, but this is a solid sushi spot and I'd be willing to come back again if I was in the area.
