I fell in love with this complex the minute I seen it. It looks very cute from the outside and I like the area. So the lease on our house is coming to an end so having seen these I really wanted to live there. My boyfriend and I took a tour and I loved the insides of the apartments just as much as the outside. So we did what anyone would do and submitted our application. The application fee was $100. Which is a lot when you're trying to move and still paying for your last place. Let's just say I was crushed when we were denied. Mind you we have rented together for 3 years and have never been denied ANYWHERE. We make more than enough money and have decent credit. So I called them, which is embarrassing after you've been denied. But nonetheless I called to find out why. The office says they do not know why because they use an outside source called on-site and they give me the number for them. I wait on hold for over an hour to talk to on-site for them to tell me they only produce the reports, it is up to the complex to make the decision. So for about a week I called back and forth between the complex and on-site getting nowhere. Finally the complex calls me to tell me we were denied for a charge from an old apartment. THAT WAS PAID 2 YEARS AGO! At this point I'd already disputed these because we have proof of payment. And mind you it does not show up on right of our credit, only this crappy outdated system. But our disputes sat there and sat there. So we're out $100 but still need a place to live, so we apply at another place. Instantly approved. Put our down on the place. And then here comes Liberty Square saying we are now approved. I don't get why we couldn't just show Liberty Square proof of payment and move along. But no liberty square and on-site had no idea why we were denied in the first place. Like I said I really loved the setup of the apartments and was so excited to live there. But no they put me on this roller coaster just to tell me I'm approved when it's too late. They really need to use a different source because on-site is bull shit! I wish I didn't waste part of our rent money on a damn application.
On another note, Kimelly who gave us our tour was really sweet and tried get best to get us in.
