| - coming from that sh*tty hotel in puerto rico, fairfield inn was a gift from god. it is a moderately priced hotel choice (marriott chain) for many business travelers and some families wishing to visit toronto which is only 30 minutes away.
the lobby area is simple yet equipped with 2 computer, 1 being a mac. they have an indoor pool which is nicely heated, although i did not partake in it. the room is tastefully decorated yet functional with a desk, a flat screen tv and spacious bathroom.
i enjoyed their complimentary breakfast, the best part being the "make-your-own" waffle machine. there is no dinner nor room service which can be a hassle for travelers without a car. across the street is a strip mall with movie theaters and many restaurants, most of them being chains or fast food types. wi-fi is also complimentary, but the speed is not super fast..
overall, i really enjoyed my 4 night stay at this hotel. it lacks a few amenities like room service and laundry service, but the rooms are big, modern and clean. i find the staff to be very friendly and helpful (all canadians are nice). if i am making a business trip again to mississauga area, fairfield inn would be my first choice, easily.
