Found a coupon on restaurant.com and we decided to check it out, restaurant has been there for almost 8 years which should tell you something as nothing out here seems to last that long.
Growing up in an Italian family from Chicago I wasn't expecting much but turned out to be an amazing little place. I had the calamari and mussels for an app and I shared the lobster ravioli and linquine pescatore. Everything was amazing, even the homemade cheese bread they bring to the table was delicious.
At the end of the meal they bring everyone a little snifter of amaretto which leaves a nice sweet taste as you leave.
I would feel comfortable bringing my crazy Italian mother to this place when she comes to visit. Decor is unusual and the waiter and owner seem like they are straight off the boat, all of it adds to a great atmosphere.
