  • Here is my review for Legacy. And the 4 things I learned from that experience. I decided to give Legacy Air a try after I received an estimate from another company. The other guy said if he didn't replace a certain part, the wires would start to burn up inside my house and also both compressors needed to be replaced very soon. He also said they will stop making the coolant for my compressors and it's a good idea to switch to newer units which were better for the environment. Now I'm all for a better environment and saving the world but the only green I saw was the bunch of dollar bills flying out my door into the hands of the other company. I'm not that smart so what resource do I turn to? YELP! And the first one was Legacy Air. 5 star rating? With over 124 reviews at the time? That can't be true. So I read through some of them and was so impressed that I decided to give Legacy a try. Dave came over to the house and I explained what the OTHER company said. He smiled and asked where the units were. About 30 minutes later, I had an explanation for everything that totally made sense, remember, I'm not that smart. Long story short....and the four things I learned. 1) The wires to my house are not going to burn up. (Good to know my 4th of July will be safe) 2) If the part needs replacing, it can be done easily and by me. 3) My compressors are good and don't need to be replaced. So I'm being responsible by not ordering new environmentally friendly compressors which would further deplete our earth of resources. Meanwhile my old ones would have been hauled off to some landfill to further pollute the world. 4) Legacy Air is all that the other reviewers said and more. They are honest, upfront, and have integrity. I will definitely use them for all my HVAC needs. And that's their Legacy!
