I did the Sedona tour and it was the tackiest thing I've done in a long time. It was $125 and in hindsight, I should have just rented a car and driven there myself. The tour basically consisted of us driving from Scottsdale to Sedona and stopping at cheap, tacky touristy, shops. There was also another stop at Montezuma's castle--I've seen ruins all over Italy and have no desire to see any more. It was not at all enjoyable. By about 10:30 in the morning, (the trip started with them picking me up at my hotel at 6:30 a.m.) I was counting the minutes to be done. It was (for me) a waste of time and money. I would expect most tour companies follow the same basic trip so I don't blame the guide. I wish I had read David's review before going-I completely concur.
