  • A friend took us here for late night dining. After 9 pm the bar offers a $5 menu which includes drinks, appetizers and entrees for $5 each. He ordered us the fresh made guacamole, the queso fundido and the carnitas tacos. We had $2 dos XX pints. The guac was pretty good, topped off with pico de gallo and served with chips and one type of salsa. The queso fundido was whole beans covered in a white cheese; it was pretty good. The carnitas tacos were very good, served on small fried tortillas topped with cabbage, pico, and a radish slice. I loved the pin wheel "chicarone" snacky chip that was mixed in with the tortilla chips. The bartender, Arturo took care of us, was friendly and attentive, but not overly so. 5 of us ate for like $35 bucks! Hooray late night menu!
