  • This is the second negative review for this place, the first I could not reach them for commentary. Perhaps it was my fault for giving them a second chance. Arrival: -arrival was fairly seamless, the took our coats and since we were fairly early we had a cocktail and waited..... and waited..... and waited.... we expected someone to come let us know when our aestheticians were ready but they didn't. When we followed up they made it seem like we were late Manicure: - Got 1 ultimate manicure and one Gel manicure. No problems with the actual manicured themselves. - The ultimate manicure was basic and not worth $50, 3 nails chipped the day after the manicure and by day 3 the nail polish on 3 fingers had fully peeled off and day 4 my nails were fully bare again Drinks: -First cocktails were great and promptly served -As soon as we sat down for our manicures we ordered 2 glasses of wine. 15 minutes after we ordered we followed up with the manicurist and she said he was very busy (fair enough it was a Friday) and he would be with us in 5. At this point my manicure was almost complete. We called over another lady asking where our drinks were and she said they were backed up and she could offer us a prosecco while we waited. We explained if she could pour a prosecco she could just pour the glass of wine. We got a blasé apology and she said she was going to get the wine. Another 5 minutes later the bartender came to take our order (again) and we got it as both manicured were finishing (reminder the manicure is an hour long) we would have easily ordered several drinks over this time Leaving/payment: - As we paid we asked for our coats and the pointed us to the back of the shop to a rack where they hung them. They expected us with a $50 wet manicure to get our own coats. Yes I dented my nail polish at the salon fiddling with the coat, even the cheaper nail salons in the area will assist you with this. All in all I was giving this place a second chance with a client and it was very disappointing for an experience that cost about $195 (!!) with drinks and tip. Won't be bringing any more clients here or coming back. Decor is beautiful but there are several better salons in the area.
