  • i loved the lake. we did the pedal boat thing and i absolutely loved the cobblestone streets and boutiques surrounding the main complex. mmm, don't forget to visit the gelato place near the boat rentals. i love that there is a strip alternative that still caters to out-of-towners. the strip tends to be a little overwhelming, especially if your stay overlaps a weekend. though this is about a 15 minute car drive away from the strip, it was well worth the trip. the casino floor is small, but has a little bit of everything. navigating through the hotel is easy and some rooms afford complete tranquility. parking is easy peasy. definitely a great place to take a break from the craziness of your usual vegas atmosphere.
