  • I took a guitar in to Billy on a recommendation from a friend. Billy is the first Luthier I've ever spoken with who didn't look down on me because I'm not as good a player as he is. Most people I've dealt with at various stores will just set up a guitar or fix obvious problems; Billy is the first, and only, to ask me questions and understand me without me feeling judged by my answers. I was very impressed. He also warned me his wait to get work done is about 2 months out. I'm fine with that especially since I know it's going to be perfect and tailored to me and not just done the way someone thinks it should be and I should play it.
