  • A shout out to every single individual that works for HTC! Me, my sister, and my two nieces set out to get my 10yo niece her ears pierced yesterday. There was some minor confusion with location (my mistake!), but Cheri at Tempe helpfully guided us to Uptown which is where I'd actually called earlier last week. It worked out perfectly because it is actually closer to my house! I was originally told over the phone that we didn't need an appointment, but I called ahead on our way to Uptown to double check. Steph answered the phone and told us to come on in. Steph helped us out right away, and although you actually do need to make an appointment, they were still willing and able to help us out. They were all so kind about the mix up and I couldn't believe how generous they were to let us walk in. Each individual we encountered was so friendly which really made my niece calm down because she was really nervous! Everything from answering my niece's plentiful amount of questions about "how much will it hurt?!" down to the music, which had both my sister and her kids singing out loud because it was from their favorite movie, put a smile on all our faces. Both Marilyn and her assistant were so good with my niece through the whole piercing experience. They even let all three of us back in the room with them! Marilyn was thorough when explaining aftercare to my sister and we all left with pins and stickers. It ended up being quite the fun adventure and both my sister and I raved on the way home about what a positive and awesome interaction we all had (at both locations). We'll be going back to Uptown to get my other niece's ears done on her upcoming birthday. Much appreciated and thanks to all involved!
