  • If I could give 0 stars I would. No, wait, check that, if I could give NEGATIVE starts I would, so in lieu of that here is my review. I was pre-approved for auto financing with Capital One. This dealership is on Capital One's page of approved dealerships (Cap One might want to rethink that), so I went to their site and found a car I really liked. I went all the way to the west side from Scottsdale to drive the car, I did like it, very much and was ready to walk out with the keys except for one major problem when I got there: and his name was "The Sarge" (he is a former Air Force guy who has a VERY high opinion of himself and his military service). OK, so first, I was dealing with the Internet Manger "Ivan" who was pretty nice, prior to driving out to see and drive the vehicle, he sent me the figures, I quickly noticed that he added the cost of window tint to the price, which I did not ask for, why should I pay extra for something the dealership had done to the car prior to my interest in it and my NOT asking for tint? SHADY. Buyers beware. SHADY, just SHADY. So why wouldn't they just add that 3 or 400 whatever it was to the advertised price of the car? Because they are SHADY! So anyway, I was very upfront and blunt with them, I told the "Sarge", oh and by the way, the "Sarge" had dumped us off on to some sales guy who couldn't answer 1 single question about the car without looking at the window sticker ... *smh* After the test drive, as aforementioned, I was blunt and to the point, I said I have my own financing through Capital One and I don't want to be in the dealership for hours upon hours, so lets talk numbers. So I offered a generous price for the car, out the door, with some cash down (keep in mind, with my own financing, this was a cash deal for them), I also told the "Sarge" I had my own Capital One financing pre-approved with a 2.49% rate. He replied "Let me go see what I can do" he goes back to the Finance office and sends the guy who knows nothing out to go over some "financing options" with me ?!? HUH? Why, I had my OWN financing. So anyway, the guy is talking about 2.99, 3.49 and 3.99% rates (ALL higher that what I already had!), and I said "Why would you even show that to me, I have my own financing?" He said because he is being watched and he has to. So then the "Sarge" comes over and goes BACK into the finance office, this is really getting old by the way, and he comes back ouver and it is apparent that he is trying to get me to finance through their dealership, which is NOT going to happen. I am female, but I am not stupid, nor was I born yesterday. I am a former employee of a car dealership, one of my parents is retired GM for 40 years and my sister works for Chrysler, and "I" work in Accounting!!! I know a little something about car sales and numbers. UGH! So anyway, before it was all said and done, the "Sarge" proceeded to berate my friend who was with me, suggesting that his (the 'Sarge") service in the Air Force was more important then my friends Marine Corp service! It was rude and I was embarrassed FOR the "Sarge" who in my opinion has Napoleons syndrome. Bottom line, Capital One has these dealers as preferred dealership partners for a reason, I assume because they are ethical, honorable and have high standards, it was clear to me that all the "Sarge" and unseen Finance guy were concerned about was their bottom line and trying to scam me out of my pre-approved financing with Capital One. This dealership is not ethical, honorable nor do that have high standards, in MY opinion. BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP !! It appears from some of the other reviews, that others have the same warning for this dealership.
